Terms of Service

HedgeFundIntel (the “Service”) is provided by the operators of HedgeFundIntel (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

HedgeFundIntel provides research tools built on public regulatory data: SEC EDGAR Form 13F holdings, Form 4 insider transactions, Form ADV data, and market prices. The Service is provided for informational and research purposes only. It is not investment advice, a recommendation, or an offer to buy or sell any security. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions. Our bespoke portfolio analytics platform (the Institutional tier) is provided under a separate written agreement; these terms govern the free and Pro research services.

Some features require a free account; others require a paid Pro subscription. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity under it. You must provide accurate information and be at least 18 years old.

Pro is offered at $250 per calendar quarter or $900 per year (USD), plus any applicable taxes. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details. You may cancel at any time, which stops future renewals, and your Pro access continues until the end of the period already paid for. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. We may change pricing on a prospective basis with notice before your next renewal.

You agree not to: (a) scrape, bulk-download, resell, or redistribute the Service’s data or content except as expressly permitted (e.g. your own CSV exports for internal use); (b) attempt to circumvent access controls, usage limits, or the paywall; (c) disrupt or overload the Service; or (d) use the Service unlawfully or to infringe others’ rights.

The underlying regulatory filings are public records. The Service’s software, design, compilations, derived metrics, and presentation are owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own internal research.

Data is sourced from third parties and public filings and may be delayed, incomplete, or contain errors. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or trading losses, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Our total aggregate liability will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless us and the people involved in operating the Service from any claims, losses, liabilities, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your breach of these terms, or your infringement of any third-party right.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to us or others. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (e.g. IP, disclaimers, liability) will survive.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a revised “last updated” date, and where appropriate we’ll notify account holders. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of the Service, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought before a court with competent jurisdiction, unless applicable consumer law provides otherwise.
