About this ranking

What is a "high-conviction" position?

A position that takes up a large share of a manager’s reported portfolio. The bigger the percentage, the more of their book is riding on that single name — a signal of conviction.

Why are some big funds missing?

To keep the figure meaningful we only include managers reporting a substantial book (≥ $1B and ≥ 8 positions). 13F shows only long U.S.-listed equity, so a global fund disclosing a few U.S. names would otherwise look misleadingly concentrated.

Is this the same as their largest dollar holding?

Not necessarily. This ranks by percentage of the reported portfolio, not absolute dollars — so a concentrated mid-size fund can outrank a mega-fund’s biggest position.
